Digitalization and Industry 4.0 are changing industrial work drastically. More and more innovative solutions become technically possible. But what will the industrial work of the future look like, what suits your company and how do you implement it successfully? The ‘Future Work Lab’ is a center where you can experience the industrial work of the future live. I worked as a freelancer 'Creative Technologist' in an early phase of the 'Future Work Lab' and supported the Fraunhofer IAO Stuttgart in conception of various demonstrators. The goal was to make the concepts tangible as quickly and iteratively as possible. The topics we worked on included for example digitally enhanced workstations for visual inspection of parts, or the provision of digital assembly documents. The Future Work Lab was featured in 'Google Arts & Culture'.
